The Atlantic 10 Conference has a new
commissioner, Bernadette
McGlade has replaced Linda Bruno who served in the capacity for the last 13 years.
McGlade has spent the past 11 years working in the
ACC Conference spending 9 years as the associate commissioner.
McGlade says she is humbled by the position and not worried about any perceptions people may have about the conference. She has also
worked in NCAA and
ACC oversight committee's including sportsmanship, officiating, equity, and television. She is also the current president of the national association of collegiate women athletic administrators.
