Architectural Studies students from the University of Pittsburgh have investigated the history of the Henry J. Lynch building in the
Bloomfield neighborhood of the city. They uncovered much of the history of what is now the
Waldorf school. The building is a designated historic landmark but little was known about its history. The students found three architects who worked on additions to the building but were unable to find the original architect. They were also able to chronicle the buildings owners and inhabitants which before had been incomplete.
