Bloggers Hold Convention In Pittsburgh

NetRoots Nation is holding its fourth annual conference at Pittsburgh's convention center this weekend. The gathering of liberal bloggers will have keynote addresses throughout the weekend from Bill Clinton and Howard Dean among other notable politicians and policy makers. Executive Director of NetRoots Nation Raven Brooks, says the conference is about bringing bloggers from around the country together to share insights into how to better their blog posts and coordinate their efforts so they will result in policy change and social action. Brooks says there are many panel discussions that will be held throughout the weekend that will address issues ranging from bettering the quality of posts to specific issues such as race in America. Former President Bill Clinton will deliver a keynote address tonight welcoming the bloggers and Vermont Governor Howard Dean will address the bloggers Friday at 9 a.m.
