Despite their opposition to G20 policies, some labor groups like the United Steelworkers of America have been directly involved in planning the upcoming summit in Pittsburgh. DUQ’s Katherine Fink caught up with the head of the Steelworkers Union, Leo Gerard, at the Netroots Nation conference earlier this month. Gerard talked
about why he sees no conflict between his group’s politics and the G-20 planning effort.
