The Young Preservationists’ Association of Pittsburgh will host its annual Preserve Pittsburgh Summit this Saturday.
The daylong event will feature a tour of historic Hazelwood buildings, a friendly preservation competition, and an awards ceremony for students who’ve produced videos or literature on preservation.
CEO Dan Holland says the students are very dedicated – some local Munhall students are even writing a book about historic Homestead.
Holland says last year, several venues used the recommendations that emerged from the Preserve Pittsburgh Summit. He says he hopes to repeat that success.
