Police Officer Fatally Shoots Man on the North Side

Paul Palmer was shot and fatally wounded by a Pittsburgh police officer on Maple Avenue on the city's North Side around midnight. 31-year-old Palmer died at Allegheny General Hospital at 12:40 a.m. Details about the shooting aren't yet available and the police officer involved in the shooting has not been identified.
