Over the last several days, there has been a need for leadership to respond to major developments, naturally occurring such as the earthquake and tsunami that rocked Japan or the bloodshed in Libya.
Admiral Thad Allen, retired Commandant of the U.S Coast Guard, led recovery efforts following Hurricane Katrina and was the national incident commander of the Gulf oil spill. He speaks this afternoon at Pitt’s Johnston Institute about “Leadership in a Crisis.” He talked with DUQ’S Kevin Gavin.
