Anne Garrels has been reporting from Baghdad for more than 4 years, leading up to and during the war in Iraq. Ms. Garrels has won many awards for her reporting and for her courage. During a brief break in her reporting, Ms. Garrels came to Pittsburgh to receive the Hollander Award at then Chatham College, which became Chatham University on May 1.
