The third round of legislative corruption charges targeted two top Democrats – one, a member of Governor Rendell’s cabinet; the other, a long-time House leader.
25 people have now been indicted on various charges regarding the use of taxpayer dollars for political purposes.
The latest -- Democratic Whip and former House Speaker Bill DeWeese, and Pennsylvania Revenue Secretary Steve Stetler, who at one point ran House Democrats’ campaign efforts.
A DeWeese staffer, Sharon Rodavich, was charged as well.
