A free half day workshop is underway at the Moon campus of Robert Morris University that will help small to mid sized manufacturers learn how to develop opportunities in the wind energy supply chain. Participants will learn about the structure of the wind energy supply chain and the most in demand components. Participants will also learn what to look for in suppliers and how to market the product the most effectively. Allegheny Conference Executive Vice President Dewitt Peart says the western Pennsylvania region is well positioned to take advantage of the wind energy market and that he expects the clean energy market to grow substantially in the future.
