With high temperatures forecast for the upper 80's to low 90's this week in southwestern Pennsylvania, the city of Pittsburgh is again extending the hours at 2 senior centers. The Homewood and South Side Healthy-Active Living Centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow August 3 through Thursday Aug. 5 to provide residents 60 or older with cooling stations.
A city spokeswoman says refreshments will be provided along with games including billiards as well as Internet access.
