These measures include addressing trade barriers affecting this county’s agricultural producers and manufactures, increasing coordination with the Department of State, Labor, Commerce, Agriculture and other federal agencies to locate and respond to trade barriers, and committing more observation of foreign labor practices, particularly substandard practices that tilt the playing field away from American workers in violation of labor obligations in trade agreements.
