Following this past weekend's snowstorm, mail service is nearly back to normal. Tad Kelley, a spokesman for the US Postal Service in Western Pennsylvania said the weekend snowstorm greatly hampered the US Post Service's ability to deliver mail. Only about thirty percent of deliveries were completed on Saturday. At least twelve post offices mostly in Greene and Westmoreland County were without power and closed.
Service was better Monday and should be normal today.
Kelley says people can ensure the walkways leading up to mailboxes are clear making mail delivery easier.
