19 Year Old Charged With 3 Death In Parkway Crash
A suburban Pittsburgh man has been ordered to stand trial on three counts each of homicide by vehicle and involuntary manslaughter in connection with a February 21st crash. At a preliminary hearing Friday, police testified that 19 year old Ryan Safka of Upper St. Clair was driving 106 miles per hour, then applied his brakes before his car went off the Parkway West and down a hillside. Three backseat passengers were killed, all from Upper St. Clair...David Rizzo and Derek Phillips, both 20, and 18 year old Tara Schulz. Safka and a front seat passenger, 20 year old Brendan Johnson were injured.
