Port Authority Route Changes go into Effect

For several years, the Port Authority has been working on a Transit Development Plan to improve service and increase efficiency. The first round of route changes will go into effect on Sunday, April 4th. All the routes being changed can be viewed on the Port Authority website: Routes not listed on the website’s pull-down menu will not change at this time.

Information is also available by phone at the customer service number: 412-442-2000, and new schedules are available at the PAT service station on Smithfield Street and on schedule racks at T stations downtown.

Heather Pharo of the Port Authority says very few routes are being eliminated, and most riders will find their routes improved or similar to what they’ve been.
