National Police Week Begins Today
The Pennsylvania State Senate has declared the week of May 9th as National Police Week in Pennsylvania. State Senator Mike Stack says that the job police do is dangerous and is encouraging people to thank police officers when they see them. Since law enforcement began in Pennsylvania 717 officers have been killed in the line of duty. Last year seveon police officers were killed across the state.
