Pennsylvania Governor-elect Tom Corbett’s transition team has announced key staff hires for the incoming administration.
Longtime Corbett aide Brian Nutt will serve as Corbett’s chief of staff next year. Nutt managed Corbett’s gubernatorial campaign, and also ran the Republican’s 2004 and 2008 Attorney General election campaigns.
The 39 year-old is heading Corbett’s transition team, and also served as chief of staff in the Attorney General’s office.
Kevin Harley will be the administration’s communications director. Like Nutt, he’s worked with Corbett for several years, serving as an Office of Attorney General and campaign spokesman.
Annmarie Kaiser will be Corbett’s Secretary of Legislative Affairs, and Jennifer Branstetter will head policy efforts.
Corbett still hasn’t named any cabinet secretaries.
Meantime, the transition team provided some details of Corbett's inauguration. The Republican’s inauguration will take place at 11:30 a.m. on January 18th, at the state Capitol.
Festivities will include a family-themed concert the day before, and an inaugural ball at Harrisburg’s Farm Show complex.
