New Guide Gives Businesses Starting Point

A new guide is helping local business owners connect to services like technical advice, workforce training and and loans. The Business Quick Guide was developed by Duquesne University's Small Business Development Center, with help from SMC Business Councils and the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance. The guide lists the types of services offered by about 150 government agencies and non-profits. SBDC Director Mary Mckinney says a similar guide was developed about eight years ago but it's now out of date. The PRA will update the Business Quick Guide on a quarterly basis. You can find it on the PRA's website.
