City Looking To Put Council Meetings On-Line
Pittsburgh City Council is looking to have its meetings available on-line. Council is searching for a company to provide a web stream of its meetings and an archive of meetings so the public can watch them whenever they have the time. Council has $56,103 budgeted for the project but Councilman Bill Peduto thinks the final contract will not cost that much. Peduto said having the meetings available on-line will allow for greater interaction with the public. Peduto said he has already spoken with two local companies. Proposals are due by July 27Th.
