She is known as the "First Lady of Song" and her career spanned six decades. Starting this evening, the Pittsburgh Public Theater is presenting "Ella"...a bio-musical that explores the life of jazz superstar Ella Fitzgerald. The production is intended to have the audience learn more about the personal side of Ella while also enjoying her music. DUQ's Bob Studebaker met up this week with the director, Rob Ruggiero and Tina Fabrique, who plays the title role.
