The Pittsburgh Steelers were honored downtown today in a parade celebrating their sixth Super Bowl victory. The Steelers defeated the Arizona Cardinals 27-23 in Super Bowl 43. Hundreds of thousands of fans lined Grant street and The Boulevard of the Allies to get a chance to see the Steelers players and coaches. Some fans were outside as early as 8 A.M.. The fans attending the parade came from all across Steelers Nation. Erie, Maryland and many other cities and states were represented downtown. The players took a little more than a half hour to address the fans and thank them for their support throughout the year. Chants of "We Want Seven" and "Here We Go Steelers" could be heard throughout the parade. With the Steelers Super Bowl win the franchise now has more Super Bowls than any other NFL franchise. The Steelers have six Super Bowls, one more than the Dallas Cowboys and the San Fransico 49ers.
