Duquesne Hosts Going Green Conference

Duquesne University's Small Business Development Center held a Going Green Conference with a key note address by living green expert Sara Snow. She spoke about going green efforts and the challenges facing the green movement. She said America does well with its recycling but has failed to realize its potential in green consumption, pointing to hesitation on the part of consumers to purchase recycled products. She said going green must be an effort that is adopted by everyone in the world. Although not everyone needs to commit to same level of activism Snow said everyone must do their part. Snow offered some simple tips on how to save resources such as lowering or raising the temperature of office buildings or homes during the nights or weekends depending on the season, and buying recycled products or printing on both sides of a piece of paper.
