McDonald's to Increase Security
Management for three downtown McDonald's restaurants has agreed to pay for extra security measures after an employee was arrested for drug dealing on the premises earlier this week. Representatives from the Allegheny County D.A.'s office, Pittsburgh police and McDonald's counsel reached a preliminary agreement to curb illegal activity, though specifics have not been disclosed. On Monday McDonald's employee John Eckard was arrested and charged with selling prescription pills out the bathroom of the Smithfield Street restaurant.
