Thousands of mourners are expected to visit the City-County Building in downtown Pittsburgh where the 3 slain police officers will lie in repose. Law enforcement officers from around the country and Canada will be coming to Pittsburgh to among those paying last respects. A private viewing restricted to law enforcement will be held after 2 p.m. today and public viewing begins at 4 p.m. through 10 Thursday morning. Then the 3 hearses will process from City Hall down Grant Street to Liberty Avenue and onto the Port Authority busway to Oakland to Neville Street to Fifth Avenue to the Petersen Events Center. A memorial service for Officers Paul Sciullo II, Eric Kelly and Stephen Mayhle will be held at 1 p.m.
A private funeral is scheduled for 11:30 this morning for Officer Sciullo at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bloomfield.
Allegheny County offices in the City-County Building will close at 2 o'clock this afternoon and remain closed until Monday including the Department of Court Records Civil/Family Division, Wills/Orphans' Court Division, Marriage License Office, and Passport Office.
City offices will be closed starting at 2 this afternoon until Monday.
