Route 28 Northbound To Close At Etna Interchange

Northbound route 28 at the Etna interchange will be closing at 6 p.m. Sunday June 7th, 2009 until late October 2009. The long term closure will allow for the tear down and replacement of the bridge that carries northbound route 28 over the 62nd street bridge. Traffic will be re-routed during the closure taking motorists across the 62nd street bridge onto Butler street and then across the highland park bridge before returning to route 28. The bridge replacement is the 4th part in a five part project to improve the Etna interchange.
