Hearing Delayed for Accused Cop Killer
The preliminary hearing for a Pittsburgh man accused of killing 3 city police officers has been postponed until April 17. 22 year old Richard Poplawski was to have gone to court tomorrow afternoon. Poplawski faces 3 counts of homicide for the shooting deaths Saturday of Officers Paul Sciullo, Stephen Mayhle and Eric Kelly. The officers were fatally shot when they came to investigate a domestic disturbance call to 9-1-1 made by Poplawski's mother. Poplawski has also been arraigned on multiple counts of attempted homicide and aggravated assault for firing on other officers.
