Some School Districts Won't Provide President's Address

President Barack Obama delivers his address to student nationwide through C-Span television at this hour. The President will be discussing the importance of students working hard, staying in school and taking responsibility for their success. But some school districts in Allegheny County have opted not to provide Mr. Obama's live address to their students.
The North Allegheny School District will archive the address electronically and make it available at the high school level to allow the Social Studies Department and administrators to determine if it's appropriate.
The North Hills School District has a similar plan while West Allegheny is leaving it up to the teachers whether to "air" the president's message. Hampton Township School District will not broadcast the president's live speech. Checking websites of other districts: Chartiers Valley, Fox Chapel and Upper Saint Clair also indicate they will not provide the live address from President Obama.
