A State Representative is introducing a bill that would ban texting while driving. Representative Eugene DePasquale of York says texting is the riskiest of all cell phone activity while driving. If passed the law would be secondary, meaning the driver would have to be doing something else wrong like running through a stop sign to get pulled over. DePasquale says the fine would be $100. While he admits it’s not an easy law to enforce, by simply making this a law he hopes to make an impact.
