Bullet Through Dorm Room at Duquesne; No Injuries
No one was injured when a bullet went through a 14th floor window of the St. Martin's dormitory on the campus of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. University spokeswoman Karen Ferrick-Roman says the incident occurred at about 12:20 a.m. today and the female student in the dorm room alerted campus police who contacted Pittsburgh Police. Ferrick-Roman says Pittsburgh Police found bullet fragments in the room and believe the bullet came from the direction of the Boulevard of the Allies....to the south of the dormitory. Ferrick-Roman says university police and Pittsburgh Police continue to investigate. Classes were not interrupted today and students were informed of the incident via e-mail.
