Pittsburgh G20 Partnership Prepares For Volunteer Clean Up Day

The Pittsburgh G20 Partnership is holding a city wide clean up event on Saturday September 12Th. Currently, there are 600 people signed on to help clean up communities throughout the city. Mt. Washington, Elliot, Southside, Oakland, The Strip District, Uptown and Shadyside will be some of the neighborhoods where volunteers spend their Saturday morning. Self proclaimed "litter czar" and founder of Citizens Against Litter Boris Weinstein says if volunteers haven't signed up but still want to come out and help they are more than welcome. Volunteers will receive a t-shirt with the Pittsburgh G20 logo on it, a reusable grocery bag from Giant Eagle, protective gloves, handiwipes, a bottle of water and snacks for coming out and helping.
